BEDROOM Set is here!

The bedroom set showed up today. It is so exciting to have at least one room nearly complete, of course that is untill the 14 wardrobe boxes full of clothes show up from virginia in a few Days!!! Of course you will notice our interesting color scheme in the bedroom, the ceilings were too high for us to paint them ourselves and so we left them for now, but wow isn't that color scheme special!!

Saturday!

Nikki and I had a fun filled Saturday followed by a busy Sunday. We played Golf on Saturday, Nikki did very well! We also went to Seattle on Saturday Night for Kim Griffins Birthday. Of course Nikki took the opportunity to get some big city shopping in. On Sunday our first installment of movers showed up with all the house hold goods that have been in Storage since the summer of 2005. We are still in boxes with more coming Thursday or Friday! Josh did a little too much heavy lifting, and needed some ice and rest.

yesterday

Nikki waited at home impateintly awaiting to swing her new clubs, so we met at the golf course on my way home from work (which seems to routinely be about 3 PM = sweet) and hit the driving range. Below are pictures of our adventure. Notice typical Washington weather prevailed with overcast, sunny, and rain all describing a single hours worth of weather.

So after weeks of looking for the right ones, we finally found the golf clubs for nikki. They are graphite shafts to be light enough for a massively quick swing, and include hybrid high irons for easier control as well as oversize heads for larger sweet spots, and most importantly (the trait that caused a trip to the returns section) they are pink shafted with pink clubheads.

Making it Home

So on tuesday I (Josh) came home from work to find Nikki busily creating a piece of pre-fabricated furniture. She made some storage space in the powder room where the previosuly was none. And she appeared to have a good time doing it as well.

Happy Birthday to Nikki! Nikki went wine tasting throughout the Chelan valley for hier birthday. We all had a great time sampling the best of Lake Chelan's fruits of the vines!
