So in St Petersburg there are 4 major Cathedrals (although most of them are not still actually functioning congregations, and some of them never actually were) recently (ok last month in the middle of our Internet outage month) I toured St Issacs cathedral (

He-Devil from this blog. If you remember from Nikki and I's first month here the first cathedral we visited was to the Church on Spilt blood, if you don't that post
is here. Anyhow enough of hyperlinks and on to some pictures I took from the top of, and inside the cathedral.


Below off in the distance is one of the other main cathedrals in the city Smolony, which is actually the site of the language faculty that I attend from Smolony Campus of St Petersburg State University.
