We won't starve

On our first full day in our new homeland Nikki and I went to the consulate to register and on the way home we stopped by a local grocery store to check out the locally available fare. We were not disappointed, here is a picture of our first acquisitions.

So far the Juices are awesome, Our favorite juice is by far the peach juice, very yummy! The cheeses are very good, one of them is laden with the Russian favorite seasoning, Dill. It takes a little getting used to but is everywhere so we might as well get used to the taste of dill. The fruits are fresh and the potato chips are finger licking greasy, not like Rips fried chicken greasy, but definitely greasy enough to taste like home comfort food. We ate the ramen for lunch one day and Nikki was quite surprised at how tasty it was, these ramen have three flavor packets, as opposed to the standard one we are used to. Since Taking this picture Nikki and I have been to the Okey, a very large grocery store much like a Wal Mart about a 30 minute drive out of the city, they have everything we looked for. So for those that were worried about us starving, worry no more, we will now begin looking for a gym or for the arrival of our Wii Fit to up our exercise as our culinary intake will be plenty. Also we were shocked to find this yogurt in the local grocery store, quite a "regular" touch of home....

Yup, you guessed right, thats activia....
