The Chunky Cheese of Russia, overpriced and medicore

We have loved experiencing new restaurants here, and we have been extremely surprised at the culinary variety and quality of most all of the restaurants we have tried. We have definitely discovered some favorites that we have returned to several times, so it is difficult for us to get the motivation to try a new one but this past weekend we tried a new (to us) Italian place. Check out the Spaghetti Carbonara and Oven baked pizza, not bad but not great either. The conversational highlight for us definitely was the "Minestrone" Soup, it took us a few looks to realize that within the soup some of the noodles were definitely from your childhood favorite can of Campbell's, none other than Alphabet soup. Yes English letters none the less. Perhaps this fits in with the Childhood motif of the restaurant, upon entering we didn't notice that it was decorated in a child friendly manner, but after seeing the alphabet in the soup we took a closer look and realized that every table had a family with small children at it and their were a lot of balloons around, that coupled with the much higher prices compared with other Italian places we have been, led us to dub this restaurant "The Chunky Cheese" of Russia.

it appears you have stumbled onto the alphabet soup black market in St. Pete.
