Just like everywhere else we have lived, the highlight of our weekend continues to be our weekly trek to the supermarket, I know how lame that sounds, but we do enjoy it. This past weekends trip was particularly rewarding because the produce aisle of the supermarket we go to was overflowing with fresh produce the likes of which we did not see here in the Winter months.
Cherries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, and all were fairly reasonably priced. We had seen the berries before, but at about 10 dollars a package we deemed them unreasonable, this weekend they were in the 1-2 dollar range, Outstanding. When we returned home from the store we couldn't resist a lunch of snack plates from our successful trip.
